a "privileged instant" is a term coined by andre breton, and belongs to the surrealism movement of the 1920s and beyond. the term refers to a fleeting moment that cannot be grasped, characterized by the impossibility of its own endurance. this blog strives to capture those moments through lo-fi photography. all images copyright cara merendino 2011.
